Fabric Bracelets

Okay, I also saw this bracelet on V and Co.'s blog and thought I'd try my own version. I'm not sure how she made hers, but it reminded me of the rag rugs, so that's what I did!
Supplies:
Strip of fabric, approximately 3 yards long and 2 inches wide
Large crochet hook (I used a Q size)
Needle and thread
Scissors

I started with a fat quarter of fabric, and cut it into 2" strips...

Then sewed them together into one long strip:
Then you work with it just like you would crochet yarn... it's actually a little easier because it's so big. I chained 12, but just measure your chain to your wrist to see how long you want it.

(And yes, that it a Boppy pillow. If you know me, you know that I use my Boppy pillow not only for nursing, but as a food/drink holder, just a plain old arm rest, a pin cushion... the possibilities are endless!)
Anyway.
Then I just turn around and do a single crochet into each stitch.

So then you'll have two "tails" on one end. I just pull them through the stitches on the other end of the bracelet, tie them in a knot underneath and snip off the excess fabric...

Finito!
